Trial Dates, Times & Location

Posted January 9th, 2012 by admin

Dear Fellow Justice for Joey Supporters,

First of all, I would like to take this time to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support in this long battle for justice. I listed below the address and time schedule for our trial. We want everyone to know that you are welcome to come to any day(s) and time(s) of this trial. We realize that many of you have work schedules that may conflict with these times so please know that you can attend as little or as much as your time permits. We are very grateful for your support. The only request we have is that you PLEASE be respectful and somewhat stone-faced while you are present, apparently the judge does not like or appreciate loudness, snickering, etc. We do not want to do anything to jeopardize this case so we hope that you understand our concerns. Thank you to those of you who have continued to pray, think positively, and work diligently as we approach this trial.

There was also a motion passed that there is NO JUSTICE FOR JOEY shirts, bracelets, signs, or any paraphernalia associated with JUSTICE FOR JOEY allowed into the courtroom. So please respect this, it is disappointing, however, apparently there cannot be anything distracting or persuading the jury. So again, if you plan on attending at any point, please be respectful.

Heroes get Remembered, but Legends Never die

Posted August 24th, 2011 by admin

3 years ago today marks the worst nightmare anyone would want to face. We all lost the most amazing son, brother, grandson, cousin and most importantly friend. Joey was a true friend to everyone he came into contact with. He cared deeply about others and everyone he knew felt and saw his genuine character, which is why he touched so many lives. We are constantly reminded of this, especially recently with the overwhelming outpour of people attending our annual Joey Pinasco Scholarship Dinner this Saturday.

Please remember Joey today and the joy he brought to our lives. Please take some time today to say a prayer that justice is served in his name. We are not only missing Joey today but we are still pleading for justice, which has been a grueling process.  Please take a moment out of your day to tell us a story or share a memory of Joey. We cherish those memories and are so grateful for them. You can post a comment to this site or share it on our Justice for Joey, Facebook page. We miss and love you Joey, more with each passing day, but our faith is still strong and we have hope that we will receive justice and we will see you again. So for now we’ll say;

‘See you later….’

Message from the Pinasco Family

This year will be the most important for attendance to our events because of our upcoming trial. We are so appreciative of the family, friends and strangers who have stuck by us in our unending battle for Justice. What happened the night of August 24, 2008 was UNJUST and these two officers who have also harmed others must be held accountable for their previous and continued actions.  We ask for your continued prayers and support in our efforts.

Countdown to January 2012 Court Date…

Posted January 3rd, 2011 by admin

We realize we have been without updates for a few months but we are still at a waiting period in this journey.  With the new year upon us our count down has begun.  We are now exactly one year away from our trial in January 2012.  We want to thank those who continue to stand behind us and support us.  This has not been an easy road.  It has been long, tedious, grueling and painful to say the least.  We cannot stress enough how much we need the continued support over the next year.  The stickers on your car, snowboard, guitar, etc., the shirts and hats worn proud, the business cards passed out and the letters written to anyone you think may listen.  Your efforts have never gone unnoticed and your love shines through your endless smiles. We appreciate each and everyone of you and we are seeing our hard work pay off.  We are confident in our evidence and we have faith that Justice will be served.

If you need stickers or other merchandise PLEASE let us know.  Email us at justiceforjoey@live.com

“Always remember there is a constant battle between good and evil. Know what side your on, and fight for it.”

We would like to take the opportunity to THANK YOU so much for your generosity.  We were able to raise over $8,000.00 to add to the Escalon High School Scholarship fund in Joey’s honor. This scholarship is very important to us. It is one special way we can keep Joey’s memory alive in a community that he loved. Your support shows us how much you care about Joey and our family. We can never repay you for your kindness and the love you have shown to us over the last two years, but we want you to know that everything you have done helps to take away some of our sadness and gives us strength and courage to continue to try and “Live Our Lives to the Fullest”. Seeing everyone at this event, having a good time in Joey’s honor was truly heartwarming for each one of us. We are proud and thankful to call you our family and friends.

With Our Love and Gratitude,

The Pinasco Family
